LM Heavy Industry’s 150 t/h mobile crushing plant has been operating reliably for over 18 months at a major iron ore mine in West Africa. Facing tight space and frequent relocations, the client chose LM’s LDC-series track-mounted station—integrating jaw crushing, secondary cone crushing, and screening on one self-propelled platform.

To handle local hematite (hardness f=14–16, high moisture/clay), LM customized feed and screen angles and added high-pressure spray bars. The result: stable 150 t/h throughput, turning 500 mm ROM into 0–31.5 mm sinter-grade product with excellent particle shape.
| Parameter | Specification / Result |
|---|---|
| Model | LDC150 Mobile Crushing & Screening Plant |
| Primary Crusher | PEW1100 Jaw Crusher |
| Secondary Crusher | HST250S Single-Cylinder Cone Crusher |
| Feeding Size | ≤500 mm |
| Final Product Size | 0–31.5 mm (adjustable) |
| Capacity | 150 t/h (continuous, dry operation) |
| Mobility | Track-mounted; <2 hrs relocation & restart |
| Fuel Consumption | ~18% lower vs. comparable fixed plant* |
| Total Ore Processed | >850,000 tonnes (as of Dec 2025) |
* Due to intelligent engine load management and reduced auxiliary power needs.
The plant’s robust design—FEA-optimized frames, SKF bearings, Bosch Rexroth hydraulics—ensures uptime in harsh conditions. Similar LDC150 units now serve nickel laterite projects in Indonesia and copper-gold operations in Oman, confirming LM’s mobile solution for agile, mid-scale mineral processing.
