Project Background
A city in Henan Province, China, generates over 2 million tons of new construction waste annually, and traditional landfilling waste waste wastes. In 2024, a building materials company introduced a Liming Heavy Industry construction waste processing line, establishing the first zero-waste demonstration project for brick-concrete waste in eastern Henan Province, achieving a large-scale processing capacity of 180 tons/hour.
Technical Challenges
- Customized Crushing Solution
To address the complex composition of brick-concrete waste, a Liming Heavy Industry DPF single-stage hammer crusher and YKN vibrating screen were used. Through three stages of crushing, the 0-650mm raw material was precisely controlled into multiple aggregate grades of 0-5mm, 5-20mm, and 20-50mm. The finished product gradation meets the CJJ/T 135-2019 standard for road base materials.
- Intelligent Control System
Equipped with an AI visual sorting module, it automatically removes impurities such as wood and plastic, achieving a metal recovery rate of 98.6%, a 40% improvement in sorting efficiency compared to traditional processes. Project operation data shows that the equipment failure rate is less than 0.5% and the annual operating time exceeds 8,000 hours.
